«Russian Bazaar»
Dear Friends! We invite you to come to our event ‘Russian Bazaar’ which will happen on the 14 of June, Sunday, from 1 pm to 7 pm. During the Bazaar you may choose and buy various interesting Russian crafts, some hand-made items in traditional style, books in Russian and about Russia, DVD and CD-disks with Russian films and music, etc. You may also enjoy our delicious special cakes and home-made pies and drink tea from ‘samovar’! Our special guest this day are: – ‘Gastronom’, the shop of Russian food in Hong Kong, – Crimean wines from the shop ‘Island Wine’ – Byelorussian dairy shop ‘Savushkin’ We also organize workshops during the Bazaar: 2 pm to 3 pm – Workshop ‘Traditional Russian doll. Making your own doll’ (for kids, in Russian). Participation fee 70 HKD. 3.30 pm to 4.30 – Workshop ‘Traditional Russian doll. Making your own wrapped-doll – ‘kukla-motanka’” (for adults, in English). Participation fee 120 HKD. 5 pm to 6 pm – Poetic night, we will read the poems of Russian immigration in China. You may also read your own poems.
